Be My Valentine

These cookies are why Vanentines is one of my families favorite hollidays. We had such a fun time decorating cookies, and then eating them. I did so good not to let my OCD go crazy, and I let Madi do her cookies by herself. I bet you can't guess who decorated the cookies at the top?!
When we were frosting the cookies we got a SWEET surprise! Grandma and Grandpa Story had brought by Valentines! The kids were so excited, even mom and dad got a Valentine from grandma and grandpa. Thanks!

Sweet Moments

As a mom I get so tired of all the fighting and yelling. Somedays it just feels like I am living in a westling ring, and I am the referee. Just when I am about to pull my hair out and go climb in bed I found these two..Mason was reading Madi her favorite story. They melted my heart and made everything worth it!

This was a moment Trav almost caught on camera. He had put the girls to nap after church and when he went to check on them they were laying in Mal's bed together. When he went back in with the camera I guess he woke them up :)

Masons visit to the Fire House

Mason went the Fire Station for preschool this year. He loves preschool and he loves his teacher Mrs. Jenny! She does so many fun things and has great field trips. This was the only on I felt good enough to go on this year :( Next year I hope to go an all of them with Mason.

Christmas Season Festivites

Playing Christmas Musical Cake Walk.

Visiting SANTA at the ward Christmas Party. Madi was so excited until we got the front of the line. She was so scared, she was just shaking and holding on to me. Santa was so nice though, he saw how scared she was and he tore one of the bells off his glove and gave it to her.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas up in Draper at my mom and dad's. We got to eat great food and play fun games with all the cousins.

WOW! Santa found us even at Grandma's! It is so much fun to see the kids open their presents. Santa was good to us all this year!

Guess who is turning 2...?

We celebrated Madilyn's birthday up at grandma and grandpa Clarks house. Grandma made a great dinner and Madi got to spend time with all her cousins, who see loves. She got a little laptop, a lot of clothes and a cell phone. She is always trying to act older than she really is and gets frustrated when she can't do what her brother and sister can. She is looking forward to being a big sister. She loves to sing songs and dance. Madi always brings a smile to the faces of all of those around her. She is a bright light in the lives of her family and we love her very much!

Story Family Christmas Party

This year at the Story Family Party the great-grandkids got to act out the "Nativity." Aunt Sandy has mad such adorable little costumes there were so many to choose from. Malarie got to be the angel this year, after some persuading Mason was a shepherd, and Madi was a lamb. She Might have enjoyed it the most. She was just hamming it up the whole time. Thanks Aunt Sandy for all the work you did!

It was also Madi's actual Birthday. She loved to tell everyone she was 2! She looks a little tired in this picture, but she had a great day!

Story F amily reunion 2010

This is the only picture I got all weekend...I know, pathetic! We had a great time at lunch before the BIG game. Then all the boys went to the Utah vs TCU game, and the girls took the kids to classic. I love that Scott and Paula started this tradition a few years ago. It is so much fun to get to be with Trav's family. We love them so much
