A weekend getaway!!!

This weekend Travis' cousin got married down in Las Vegas. The wedding was on Saturday, but we thought why not make it a few days longer... So, Trav took Thursday through Monday off and we had a blast!

On Thursday, we drove down to St. George at at In-n-Out burger-Travs' FAVE. It was a great start to the weekend. Then we did a little shopping and went back to my grandma's condo to watch some March Madness(yes, I actually do enjoy it!). Mal and I got away for a little bit and did some unsuccessful shopping-don't you hate it when you have money to burn and you can't find a thing to buy! Later that night I went and got spray tanned. I thought I would be okay if I was going to wear my boots at the wedding but since it is in the mid to high 70's I decided to wear sandals and since I didn't want to be the only white girl-literally everyone got spray tanned! It went pretty good until I woke up the next morning with ORANGE hands! Seriously they were so bad! My left one was worse than my right. When I got to Vegas it was so funny because we were all comparing our spray tan goof ups! I wish I had pictures.We were all just joking that Jeff's(travs cousin Ashley's' Fiance) family was going to think we all we a bunch of retards! Oh, what do you do?

On Saturday it was the wedding and our 6 year Anniversary-YEAH! Malarie and Mason were in the wedding party. Malarie and her favorite cousin Lillie were flower girls and Mason was a ring bearer. I guess I am just a little slow but I didn't realize they actually wanted Mason to walk do the isle. It was so funny at the rehearsal the night before- he didn't walk down the isle he ran! And to make it even better he biffed it half way down! I was needless to say a little worried that Mason was going to ruin the ceremony for Jeff and Ashley. But, he didn't :) Kari actually held Mason and Dylans(my sweet little nephew) hands. They did so good. They were so handsome. Mason reminded me of TOMMY BOY- let me know what you think. Malarie and the other little girls looked so cute too. Malarie couldn't get enough pictures- She just loves to pose :)

After the ceremony there was the dinner and reception and DANCING!!! We had such a great time! Malarie said, "This is the best party EVER!" We had so much fun dancing, we had so much fun watching Malarie and Dylan dancing! Trav and I got to DANCE a little too! We couldn't think of a time where we have actually danced before. I sure enjoyed myself! I am sure he did too!

The next night Trav and Craig surprised Julie and I with some tickets to MYSTERE. Since we didn't do anything too romantic on real Anniversary, we celebrated it Sunday. We had so much fun with Craig A.K.A Dale Jr. and Julie. We were laughing our heads off the whole night! I totally recommend the show. It plays at Treasure Island and for a side note: Trav got us really good seats but if you plan on going there isn't a bad seat in the entire place! So get a cheap seat and save some money.
On Monday our weekend was at an end. One last stop at the Nike outlet for Trav and we were on our way back home. I tried to convince him to take off just one more day for two reasons: One I really just didn't feel like getting back to reallity quite yet and Two the gift I ordered for him for our Anniversary had still not shown up! I tried bo be all sneaky. I ordered him a new wedding band becuase he lost his. I thought it was a good idea to had it 2 day FED EX to Vegas but becuase of th flooding Back east it didn't get there! So annoying. Side note we still don't have it! Aunt Amber is trying to work it out for us. I feel bad that I have added that to her list of things to get done. She is such an awesome Aunt! We just love her!
I am so lucky that I have such an awesome exteded family! I love Travs aunts, uncles, and cousins so much! I don't think I could have picked better ones my self. In fact Craig Julies husband- has been really good friends forever and then they got married- It is so much fun to be around them!
