Christmas Season Festivites

Playing Christmas Musical Cake Walk.

Visiting SANTA at the ward Christmas Party. Madi was so excited until we got the front of the line. She was so scared, she was just shaking and holding on to me. Santa was so nice though, he saw how scared she was and he tore one of the bells off his glove and gave it to her.
We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas up in Draper at my mom and dad's. We got to eat great food and play fun games with all the cousins.

WOW! Santa found us even at Grandma's! It is so much fun to see the kids open their presents. Santa was good to us all this year!

Guess who is turning 2...?

We celebrated Madilyn's birthday up at grandma and grandpa Clarks house. Grandma made a great dinner and Madi got to spend time with all her cousins, who see loves. She got a little laptop, a lot of clothes and a cell phone. She is always trying to act older than she really is and gets frustrated when she can't do what her brother and sister can. She is looking forward to being a big sister. She loves to sing songs and dance. Madi always brings a smile to the faces of all of those around her. She is a bright light in the lives of her family and we love her very much!

Story Family Christmas Party

This year at the Story Family Party the great-grandkids got to act out the "Nativity." Aunt Sandy has mad such adorable little costumes there were so many to choose from. Malarie got to be the angel this year, after some persuading Mason was a shepherd, and Madi was a lamb. She Might have enjoyed it the most. She was just hamming it up the whole time. Thanks Aunt Sandy for all the work you did!

It was also Madi's actual Birthday. She loved to tell everyone she was 2! She looks a little tired in this picture, but she had a great day!

Story F amily reunion 2010

This is the only picture I got all weekend...I know, pathetic! We had a great time at lunch before the BIG game. Then all the boys went to the Utah vs TCU game, and the girls took the kids to classic. I love that Scott and Paula started this tradition a few years ago. It is so much fun to get to be with Trav's family. We love them so much

Halloween Happenings

Malarie got to be in the school parade. It would have been just fabulous if it weren't 40 degrees! Those poor kids were all icicles at the end!
This year I was so sick that I didn't quite get into the Halloween spirit, and pumpkins didn't get carved til the night before Halloween. And its a good thing we have such an amazing grandpa, because with me not feeling good and Trav HATING carving pumpkins, they wouldn't have got done. The kids love carving the pumpkins. I didn't get a picture if the final product because like i said I was sick. I feel bad about it now but at the time I probably didn't care :( Oh my poor kids when I'm pregnant!

This is them getting ready to go out trick-or-treating. We had an Iron Man, a pretty Witch, and the cutest Little Lady Bug!

A Trip to the Pumkin Patch

Lake Powell 2011

We got invited to go Lake Powell by our friends Wes and Andrea Andreason along with the Petersons, Hallows, the Udys, and the Millers. We had such a blast playing in the water, soking up the sun, hiking, playing games at night, and EATING!(well most enjoyed eating...I was 7 weeks pregnant and was super pukey and sick. eating was not my favorite).

Cliff caught a Blue Gill off the shore where the house boat was docked and then while it was still on the line a Bass fish came and swallowed the Blue Gill! We were all watching and could not believe what we saw. It was just something from out of a cartoon.
All the men thinking they are pretty hot stuff while cliff jumping.

This was a crack in the was the Wes and Andrea found. It was so much fun.(at long as your not claustrophobic)

Cliff and Trav doing some tricks together.

Heather and I riding the tube. Trav was too nervous to let me do anything else, and he made the boat go slow, but I still had a good time.
