On Thursday my friend Katie had our young mothers group over to her house for a Valentine party. It was so much fun for the kids and for us moms. Katie had the house decorated so cute. The kids played with her slide and trampoline. They thought that it was great to have a slide in the house! Mason was so cute, he did have a little hard time getting the concept to wait his turn but he eventually figured it out.
Katie had a table cloth and the kids ate their lunches on it like a picnic. Then the kids played a game-pin the heart on the bulls eye. Malarie wasn't pleased with where her heart was when she took off the blind fold. Mason was just happy to have a turn.

After the game the kids got to hit the pinata that Katie had made by herself with a brown grocery bag, color tissue paper, and some glue. How crafty:) Malarie her first swing and the pinata fell to the floor but didn't open. So Katie held it while the kids took more and more swings. she was brave the rest of us moms were a little too scared of the bat to hold it. Walker (the biggest little boy in the pic's) had a swing that was a little too close to Katie and we hung up the pinata again. Mason was so cute swinging the bat. I just love him. The bag finally broke and the kids all got a bag of candy and toys.
After that the kids made Valentines for Grandmas and Grandpas. The we walked across the street and mail the Valentines. The kids loved that! And with that it was a day.
Thanks Katie for planing such a fun party! I love getting out of the house and talking to other moms. What a great day!

That sounds like a ton of fun. Way cute pics!
Your little family is sooo cute! How old is Madlyn? I feel like such bad friends! We need to do better at keeping in touch! I haven't seen or talked to you since the homecoming football game! Hope things are going well for you guys and you're managing three kids!! I can barely handle one!! :) Keep blogging!! :)
Hey, Cristan. Looks like fun. Your kids are so cute.
I'm glad the shot of my rear is the most flattering one up there. At least it shows how baggy my pants are - I must be losing the baby fat. Sweeet.
I love parties that are just fun for everyone, the best part is when you don't have to be in charge! Yeah, the photo on my blog is actually part of a large Quarnberg family picture that I had to do on a tripod and timer. Then after we were all done with that I had taken some of the other families and had Kendall take some of just us, but they didn't work out so good. I had to photoshop edit this one, but it turned out ok! Let's lunch sometime, i need to see this cute baby!
What a fun little party! Sounds like the kids had a ball! It was so good to talk to you the other day, Lillie was so excited to talk to Mal!! We're still trying to decide if we're coming in March, I'll let you know. We'd love to see you!!
