For Family night we spontaneously drove up to Maple Grove. All we took with us was a pack of hot dogs, a bottle of ketchup, a bag of chips, a few water bottles(and a LARGE Mtn DEW), and s'more fixings. We had such a great time playing by the stream. Looking at the fish, and exploring the camp site. Trav got a big fire going and we roasted the hot dogs on the sticks we had found because we only have one hot dog stick that I inherited from my parents move this summer. The hot dogs we roasted on the wood sticks all fell into the fire when the stick got too hot so, we ended up roasting the rest of the hot dogs and all the marshmallows will one stick. It took a little bit of time but we were having so much fun it didn't matter.
It is so much fun to do things with our little family. I love sitting back and watch our kids getting along and playing nice. I am grateful for family night and the time we get to be together. I know as the kids get older I am going to be glad we have started having family night while they were young.
