Fun with Family

The week after the 24th my sister Chalyse and her kids came out to Utah. She had her last chemo treatment the Wednesday before she came out and she had to be back the following Monday to start her radiation treatments. I was so excited that she was able to come. I am one of the only sisters that haven't made it up there to help her-mainly because with 3 kids I don't think I would be any help at all- but I missed her and I wanted to be with her.
It was such a fun and exciting week. On Sunday we all just got to have the last Sunday dinner at my parents house before they move. That move is a whole other post! But it was fun to catch up with everyone. Chalyse looks awesome. In fact everyone that saw her would say, "You look so healthy!"

On Monday my sister Cami went to the hospital to have her baby. We got to have her kids and the cousins all played at grandmas before we went bowling. The kids loved bowling! They turned off the reg. lights and had the black lights on and the laser lights an strobe lights going. I thing there was even a fog machine. We ha fun but we were anxiously awaiting the call to hear what Cami had. When we got the call the made us wait to get to the hospital to find out what she had. It was killing her girls. I am proud to announce the birth of Sidney Mika Sieverts. She is adorable! I am so excited for another niece. She is going to be so loved.

On Tuesday Chanda took us to a cute like water play ground in Riverton. The kids loved the shooting tractor and all the other cool toys to play with. We ha a fun picnic and when they couldn't stand any more we left to go get another glimpse of the baby:)

On Wednesday Chalyse and her kids, me and my kids, and my sister in law Nikki Sue and my niece Kenadee went to Park City. We had a great time back to school shopping. I can't believe I have a niece that is going to be in high school! I have the cutest nieces and nephews. I am so grateful for the quality time we got to spend together. After we had lunch we went on the Alpine slide. It was a blast! I had never been on it and Nikki and Kenadee stayed back so I could take Mal-thank you! On the way up my little nephew Blake had an accident-it was not funny but at the same time it was. Poor Chalyse who had to have him ride on her lap :) KIDS- you just gotta love em'!

(Blake after the "accident." He looks a lot happier!

Thursday we went to LAGOON! It was the first time Trav has been able to come with us. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband who is the best dad and uncle in the world! The kids of coarse loved it. I even got to go on some rides this year because I wasn't preggers! We even ran into our Aunt Kris,Uncle Sage, Cody, Erin, Lillie, and Allie! We had no idea they would be there. It is either a small world or we just have a huge family.

Daddy gave Madi liccorice while mom took the kids on Rattle Snake Rapids...she liked it!

Friday was the last day Chalyse was going to be there. We did a little shopping, ate some more of my moms yummy cooking, and just relaxed.
I love my family. I am the youngest in my family and I am so glad because I get to look up to my sisters. They have taught me so much, an are great examples to me. I am so lucky that they are my very closest friends!
