After they looked her over they thought she was fine. They called us and told us and said she was just being fussy-which is normal nowadays, then I looked at the clock and it was 8:30--okay that explains the fussy because its past her bed time. Her awesome grandpa gave her a blessing that night, and she quit fussing. The next day they said she was just a little tender, but was happy and smiling. When we got home on Sunday I got her in a bath and noticed that her right collar bone was really swollen. I felt up and down it, but couldn't really tell if something was wrong. The next morning she was favoring her right arm and was even eating with her left . I just kept watching her throughout the morning and she just wasn't acting right. I put her down for a nap and called to get a doctor apt. After her nap I felt her collar bone--the swelling had gone down and when I touched it I touched broken bone...and I wanted to throw up! I knew it was broken at that point. At the doctors the x-ray confirmed it!
Poor baby! She went three days with a broken bone-I felt awful! Then the doc said there is nothing they really do for broken collar bones, but put them in a sling. She is doing great! You would never even know she had something wrong the way she is smiling!
**I just have to put it out there because I know that Grandpa is feeling so bad about the whole thing--we are not mad one bit at him. Things happen all the time, and for the last few weeks Madi has been such a dare devil that it doesn't surprise me that something like this happened. We love you Grandpa!!!**

I love that SMILE!!! Give her a big hug from me.
OH poor baby girl. I was afraid it was broken when you told me the story on Sunday. Looks like she is still happy as ever. Can't wait to see you all this weekend.

Oh, poor little Madi!! Sounds like she is a tough little girl. I can't believe how big she's getting! And she is starting to look so much like Mal! Looks like Malarie had a fantastic birthday, and good job on the purse cake, even if you had to do it twice :) Oh the things we do for our kids.
Hey Cristan, I saw you had a blog, thought I would check it out.
